Hey friends,
This Sunday we are going to recognize all of our Adult Life Group leaders and give them $100 each to help them do an outreach or service event. We want CrossPointe to be a church OF small groups and not just a church WITH small groups. Life Groups are vital to your spiritual growth as well as the health and vitality of our church. What are Life Groups? I am glad you asked! Life Groups are small groups that meet at the church or in homes. LIFE is an acronym for:
L - Living in a Christian community - not a commune or anything like that, but simply living life with friends, having accountability, encouragement etc.
I - Interactive Bible Study - The Bible is the key to all that we do. It is great to study, discuss, and apply God's Word together with one another.
F - Fellowship - That is the Christian word for hanging out, developing friendships, and enjoying our shared relationship with Christ.
E - Externally Focused - We do not want to create little "holy huddles" but Great Commission focused groups that are committed to reaching beyond themselves and sharing the good news with others.
About 70% of our adults attend a Life Group which is really good! However, we would love to have everyone connected and committed to a Life Group.
